Chocolate Walnut Brownie Recipe

Hello Darlings!

I thought I'd kick off my 1st ever blog post with one of my favourite recipes: Chocolate Walnut Brownie! It's super easy to make and let's be honest, who doesn't love a good brownie?

So the ingredients you'll need are:
3 medium eggs
250g of caster sugar
200g of butter
200g of plain chocolate
112g of plain flour
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of vanilla essence
150g of walnut pieces

Method:

1. Preheat your oven to 170 degrees celsius.

2. Beat together the eggs and sugar for around 2-3 minutes until light and pale.

3. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a bain marie (glass bowl over a pan of boiling water).

4. Add the melted chocolate to your egg and sugar mixture and mix until well blended.

5. Add the flour, salt, vanilla essence and walnuts and fold in.

6. Pour the mixture into a square tin/mould and place in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. For a more gooey brownie I suggest taking it out at 30 minutes.

The brownie should be cracked on top and gooey in the middle, if you don't want to add walnuts, you could replace it with white or milk choc chips or fruit if you really wanted to!

Hope you all like this recipe! If you make them, tweet me a picture!

Love Jess x
